What is Happy Monday’s Together?
Happy Monday’s is an inclusive group which has come about through a partnership between WACA and Exclusively Inclusive. It provides a safe, fun and nurturing environment for people primarily with learning disabilities but not exclusively, through games, craft activities and food. Partner agencies often attend and the whole community is encouraged to join. Everyone who attends leaves with a smile on their face.
What is the role?
We are looking for volunteers who will be able to help set up the group and pack up after the session. Have a willingness to make drinks and interact with group members and put forward and support new ideas for the wellbeing of the group.
Location?
Currently the Happy Monday's Together Group is run every Monday in Skipton.
What skills do I need?

. Ability to use own initiative
Do I get any support?
You will initially be supported within the group until able to work independently and the WACA Volunteer Coordinator will be on hand for regular check-ins.
Do I get expenses paid?
Yes! All out of pocket travel expenses will be reimbursed, just ask the volunteer coordinator for a form.
